Eleanor is Four months old!

From September 2009
Eleanor is now four months old and is so grown up! I think she knows she's a month older because she woke up Monday morning "talking" differently and making sounds we'd never heard before. She even talks to the me or to her bottle while she's eating.
Our baby girl survived another round of vaccinations. It went a bit better than last time, and with a little Tylenol and a lot of rest and nursing, she seems barely bothered by the next day. Here are her four month measurements: Weight 13 lbs & 11 oz (50th percentile), Length 25 1/4 inches (85th percentile). Also, a few cool things she is doing developmentally these days: laughs, holds her head up high and turns it side to side while she's on her tummy, grabs for everything that looks interesting, puts everything she grabs into her mouth, and sits up with progressively less support from us. And remember a little while back when we said she'd suddenly discovered her hands? Well yesterday she noticed she has feet! What fun! Two more exciting toys that follow her everywhere.
