33 Week Update

Welcome to your 33 week update - on time for once!
We are all doing well. We had an appointment last week (thanks for joining us, mom!) that went well. My uterus continues to measure a little small, but not "clinically significantly" small. It is also showing consistent growth, which is a good sign. We went ahead and did another non-stress test during that appointment. It was going pretty well for about 20 minutes, then Carol said "I'm going to get you some juice to perk her up" and Monkey's heart rate shot up to 160 and looked really great for the next 10 minutes. So her overall evaluation of the test was "fabulous."
In other big news, this has been the week of hiccups. Hiccups almost everyday. One day they were so hard they woke me up from sound asleep. Her skeleton is also hardening up, and apparently she is looking less "wrinkly."
We do kick counts every day now. It's very simple, I just lay there and time how long it takes for her to kick 10 times. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes, sometimes it takes an hour. If she doesn't kick 10 times in 2 hours you call so you can get checked out. And if she's going kind of slow, you have to eat some ice cream to encourage her. Oops, I might have added that last part.
