Nap Mat

This is Eleanor's new nap mat. I made it for her because I'm a masochist. Wait, no. I meant because I love her very much and that's the kind of mom I am.
I was really kicking myself for all the trouble I went to, because to be honest (Nana can testify), it was a LOT of trouble. Plus I spent more on supplies than Aunt B spent on Austin's entire handmade nap mat purchased on Etsy.
But then I gave it to Eleanor. She LOVES it. When we put her to bed tonight, she would not sleep without "Eleanor'spresentmommymadeitbecauseimyourgirl!!" My heart melted and I promised myself I will make as many nap mats as my children could ever want. Sigh.
