Updates for 14 months
Eleanor loves:
Eating - especially Fig Newman's. But she really continues to eat everything. Lucky Mom and Dad.
Climbing - EVERYTHING. She's shockingly strong for her size and completely fearless. If you turn your back for more than about 20 seconds, she will climb onto the kitchen chairs and then from the chair onto the table. Then she just sits there, looking pleased with herself.
Electronics - cell phones (iphones preferred, she's an apple snob), iPads, desktop computers, xbox controllers, she loves it all. Concerningly, she can now climb onto the chair at the desk, wake up the computer, and play music when it suits her. She also seems bewildered by any device that is not a touch screen, which makes me feel old.
Books - No change here, except she now "reads" in bed at night and in the morning. She also discovered paper books (not board books) this week and is so far very careful with them. We'll see how that goes. Favorite books include "Each Peach Pear Plum," "Tails," and many more.
Playing outside - tricycle, dirt, kiddie pool, balls, all of it
Eleanor does NOT love:
the carseat
diaper changes
giving up what she's playing with (who does?)
not getting to climb things
