Giggles!

Eleanor has really had the giggles this week. She's laughing at everything! Waking up in the morning? That's funny. Putting on socks? That's funny. Eating breakfast? That's funny.
She also continues to army crawl all over the house. In fact, I'm thinking of attaching a swiffer to her belly to save time on vacuuming.
She has changed so much over the last month! She eats all kinds of foods now and has the desire, but not the dexterity, to feed herself. When she started to eat solid foods at 6 months, she sat politely in her chair and opened her mouth like a baby bird so we could put the spoonful of food in. No longer! Eating is a full contact sport! Yesterday she took down not only her cup of pears with yogurt, but my cup of (cold) coffee sitting a couple of feet away. Her favorite food right now is. . . cauliflower. A little odd perhaps, but I can't complain. Especially now that we have a super new baby food maker thanks to Aunt Mary Beth and Uncle Russell.
Her babbling has also come a long way. She "talks" to us all the time now, and her intonations make it sound like we're really carrying on a conversation. We hear lots of "da da da da" and "ma ma ma ma," but she doesn't seem to mean anything in particular yet, she just enjoys chatting.
